Share them in Twitter

A button at the bottom of the single-page view of a Milestone will let you post it to Twitter, with the geographic coordinates of the place where you planted it. This is a great way to post to Twitter, as it will also take care of the photo that you might have attached to the Milestone. It is also convenient for tweeting in places where Internet coverage is poor, as it allows you to record the note on the spot and then post it whenever you find a Wifi connection.

The first time that you post to Twitter you'll be asked to validate your account. Milestones does not store your Twitter user name and password: it only stores the authorization to post. Once you have validated the account you can keep using it, or you can move to a different account.
